Opened in 1974 as the first purpose-built convention centre in Canada, the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre spans two connected buildings in the heart of downtown Calgary, right next to the Calgary Tower. The facility offers 122,000 sq ft of convention space, a 47,000 sq ft Exhibition Hall, the multi-tiered Macleod Hall, and 36 meeting rooms — hosting conferences, trade shows, weddings, gala dinners, concerts, and community gatherings year-round. Main guest entrance is on 8th Avenue SE in the North Building.
