Earl Lee conducts the Calgary Philharmonic in Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, an orchestral journey from springtime energy through rustic dances and an ironic funeral march to a triumphant finale. Cellist Steven Isserlis also joins the Orchestra for Schumann’s Cello Concerto.
