By using the Platform, you consent to your personal information being transferred to and processed in these jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to ensure our service providers protect personal information consistently with this policy and applicable Canadian privacy law. However, the laws governing data protection in those jurisdictions may differ from Canadian law, and personal information transferred abroad may be subject to access by foreign authorities.

6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to sign out of your account when using shared devices.
7. Third-Party Links
The Platform contains links to external websites, including venue websites, booking platforms, and social media pages. Needs Alberta/Canadian Counsel Review
The following items should be reviewed by a licensed Alberta or Canadian privacy lawyer before this policy is treated as final:
- CASL marketing consent: Whether account-creation email collection constitutes implied or express consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and whether the sign-up disclosure notice (without a dedicated opt-in checkbox) is sufficient. Retroactive consent obligations for existing users should also be confirmed.
- Google Sign-In data handling: Whether receiving and persisting Google profile data (name, email, image) triggers additional disclosure or consent obligations under PIPA or PIPEDA beyond what is currently disclosed.
- Cross-border transfer safeguards: The adequacy of contractual or other safeguards in place with Brevo, Stripe, Sentry, Mapbox, and Cloudflare for transfers of personal information outside Canada should be confirmed under PIPA s. 13.
- Specific retention periods: PIPA recommends documenting specific retention periods by data category. These should be established with legal counsel and added to the Data Retention section above.
