Hallway Gallery: BABAE: Meditations on the Divine by Reva Diana

Explore a new Hallway Gallery exhibition at cSPACE Marda Loop that weaves together two generations of artistic vision. 'BABAE: Meditations on the Divine' features mixed-media work by Reva Diana and photography by her daughter, Ava Diana. Reva looks outward, drawing inspiration from conversations with ten Filipinas about life, divinity, and their experiences in Canada. Ava turns inward, offering an intimate reflection of her own journey. Together, their pieces examine identity, inheritance, and womanhood, exploring how we encounter the divine within ourselves and one another. This gallery experience is paired with a workshop specifically designed for people with Filipinx ancestry or connections. It is a thoughtful space for reflection and community engagement, open to the public at no cost.
