Ghazaleh Avarzamani: Churn, Earn, Burn and then Return
Located in Downtown West End

Iranian-Canadian artist Ghazaleh Avarzamani turns the familiar language of board games, playgrounds and nursery rhymes into a sharp meditation on power, labour and control. Inspired by Monopoly, this installation weaves together sculptures, textiles, found and archival objects, and a recurring butter motif that ties the churn of markets to the machinery of empire. Curated by Mona Filip and shown across the Ring Gallery and Atrium, it's a playful-but-pointed exhibition worth a slow wander. Presented in tandem with the artist's outdoor installation Of Manual.
