Altius Brass: Love Stories

Love has inspired composers for centuries, and Altius Brass brings that history to life in an evening of music exploring romance, devotion, and longing. The program features selections from Sergei Prokofiev’s beloved Romeo and Juliet, a powerful portrayal of love and tragedy, alongside Walter MacDonald White Bear’s Bear Love, a contemporary piece commissioned for ‘Wandering with Wonder’ that focuses on storytelling and connection. From tender moments to sweeping drama, this performance celebrates the emotions that unite us all. It is a welcoming experience for all ages, offering a chance to enjoy a two-hour performance with intermission in an accessible setting.
