Calgary Opera stages its first-ever production of Seymour Barab's family-friendly The Pied Piper of Hamelin, the same creative team behind their 2025 Little Red Riding Hood. It's a charming, melody-packed retelling of the classic folk tale about a mysterious rat-catcher and a lesson in keeping promises. Come early for costume dress-up, an opera storybook zone, and arts and crafts, and stick around for an audience participation moment and a post-show Q&A with the artists.
