Cavalleria Rusticana by Alberta Vocal Arts

Alberta Vocal Arts presents Pietro Mascagni's beloved one-act opera Cavalleria Rusticana, a tale of love, jealousy and revenge set in a Sicilian village on Easter morning. This fully staged production features a chamber orchestra and community chorus, with soloists Barbara King, Ernesto Ramirez, Heidi Muendel, Aaron Durand and Ainsley Soutiere under conductor Carlos Foggin. A pre-show chat with the artistic team precedes the performance, and live English surtitles are projected throughout.
