The Last Prometheus of Donbas @Calgary Justice Film Festival (CJFF)

Join the Calgary Justice Film Festival for a screening of The Last Prometheus of Donbas. This documentary follows energy workers at the last operating power plant in eastern Ukraine, located just 10 km from the frontline. Under constant shelling, they risk their lives to keep the lights on until the plant’s destruction and forced evacuation, drawing parallels to historical events from 1941. This screening is part of the inaugural Culture in Action initiative, which fills The Confluence with art and performance throughout the festival. Audience discussions on issues relevant to Calgarians are included. Please note that CJFF films are presented without edits and may contain sensitive content intended for mature audiences.
