Jazz & Soul at The Attic returns for Season III with the venue debut of the Way Ahead Trio, who explore the sounds of the electronic valve instrument alongside acoustic instruments in the jazz tradition. The trio pairs Jon May on drums, Adam Pettigrew on upright bass and David Lavoie on EVI and effects, drawing on their release Strays for everything from funky and groovy to pensive and ambient. It's an intimate listening-room set on Calgary's Music Mile.
