Making of the Mural — A Mosaic of Calgary’s and Canada’s Military History and Legacy

Join Karen Storwick, Director of the Mural of Honour, for an evening dedicated to the stories behind the art. As the person responsible for developing the Mural, she will walk through how it came to be and share insights into the specific people, events, and narratives represented across its 240 panels. The presentation takes place in the Queen Elizabeth II Atrium at The Military Museums. A reception with light snacks and a cash bar will be held before and after the talk, offering a chance to connect with fellow history enthusiasts. Admission is by a suggested minimum donation to the museum, and seating is limited, so advance registration is recommended.
