The River Park Classic is the second race in the Calgary Roadrunners' cross-country Grand Prix series, run on a groomed grass and pathway course beside the Elbow River at Sandy Beach. Runners can take on the 8 km Grand Prix distance or a shorter 4 km loop, with a 0.5 km kids' fun run beforehand. An outdoor post-race BBQ social wraps up the morning — bring a dessert and your own bowl and utensils. Pre-registration is via the club's online form, with cash entry collected on race day.
