The YYC Sub Ultra Trail Run brings the Calgary Trail Run Community together for a day of short-and-fast trail racing on Nose Hill Park's singletrack. Runners pick their challenge — a 34km double-loop, a 17km lap (with a dedicated Wild Rose women's wave), or an approachable 6.8km trail walk/run — plus a 2km kids event for the little ones. Expect chip timing, well-marked courses, aid stations, and a finisher arch with music, an announcer, and post-race sticky buns from Kashew Bakery. It's a welcoming, beginner-friendly intro to trail running with plenty of stoke for seasoned racers too.
