Sharpen your narrative instincts in this intermediate six-week workshop. Focused on the core elements of scene construction, you’ll learn to craft stories with strong beginnings, surprising middles, and satisfying endings. Led by instructor Mark Laws, the course is designed for performers who have already completed Improv 101 and 201 or possess roughly 30 hours of improv experience. The goal is to move beyond basic reactions and build scenes that genuinely engage an audience. Mark brings a background in both teaching and performance, with credits in Fringe Fest and local improv scenes. He emphasizes inclusivity and creating a safe space for creative risk-taking. Note that if enrollment is high, the class may split into two simultaneous sessions with different instructors, allowing you to choose your preferred group.
