Stephen Avenue transforms into the Stampede's downtown hub each morning with free chuckwagon breakfasts (bacon pancakes start at 8:30), the daily First Nations Parade at 11:30 a.m., square dancing, mascots, face painting, and horse-drawn rig tours. The midday High Noon Hootenanny showcases country music acts on the open-air stage — all run by Calgary Stampede's Downtown Attractions volunteers.
