A pairing of exhibitions by Canadian Métis artist and scholar David Garneau at UCalgary's Founders' Gallery inside The Military Museums. Dark Chapters, curated by Arin Fay, uses metaphorical still-life paintings to reckon with the lived experience of contemporary Indigenous people and the legacy of colonialism, shown alongside the companion body of work Reading the Ruins. Open daily during gallery hours.
