BINS

BINS is a new play by Calgary playwright Louise Day, staged in Contemporary Calgary's Heather Edwards Theatre. It follows three unlikely friends — a Vietnam veteran, a retired schoolteacher, and an autistic young man — who meet in one of the city's most unique thrift stores and build connection across differences of age and ability. Drawing a heartfelt, unblinking light on Calgary's housing and affordability crisis, it's an intimate story about what we discard, what we keep, and what we truly value.
