Silvering: Bodies of Experience

Silvering is a living archive celebrating seasoned artists who continue to move, question, and take creative risks. Presented by Springboard Performance, this program explores the evolving relationship between the aging dancing body and creative practice, gathering audiences to witness experience, longevity, and artistic expression across the lifespan. The evening features four distinct works: Peggy Baker’s autobiographical piece *unmoored*, which reflects on memory and identity; Wen Wei Wang’s *Last Solo*, a contemplation on mortality and transformation; a new duet by Davida Monk and Melissa Monteros examining human potential in the late Anthropocene; and a performance by Barbara England. These are not stories about slowing down. They are encounters with incredible artists whose practices have accumulated decades of experience while remaining restless, curious, and gloriously becoming.
