NMC Tours: Backstage Pass

Curious about where your favorite records are made? Step behind the scenes at Studio Bell for an exclusive look at the National Music Centre’s recording facilities. This hour-long tour is led by NMC music educators who share the stories behind notable artifacts, spanning 450 years of music innovation. You’ll get a rare glimpse of treasured items from the collection that the public rarely sees, including a 16th-century Trasuntino Harpsichord and TONTO, often considered the 'holy grail' of synthesizers. The tour also features the legendary Rolling Stones Mobile Studio, where countless hit records were created. Recommended for ages 12 and up, space is limited and first-come, first-served. Studio Bell admission is required, and you should arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour. Tours are subject to change based on studio availability.
