Calgary Poetry Slam ft. Lindsay Mayhew

Gather for an evening of spoken word to embrace the autumn season. Calgary Poetry Slam returns to Dickens for a night of cozy, crisp, and transformative poetry. The featured performer is Lindsay Mayhew, an interdisciplinary spoken word poet and co-editor of A Thousand Tiny Awakenings. Her work explores the intersections of identity and experience through her verse. This is a community-driven event where attendees can sign up to perform or simply enjoy the show. The night follows the standard slam format, offering a space for both emerging and established voices to share their work in a supportive environment.
