Astralis Quartet presents Bagatelles

Experience a rare program featuring the world premiere of William Jordans new string quartet arrangement of Béla Bartóks *Bagatelles*. This performance marks the Astralis Quartets first encounter with Beethovens Op. 18, No. 1, alongside a cool and entertaining diversion by John Charles Reid. The program blends classical tradition with fresh interpretation. Youll hear the beautiful Adagio inspired by Shakespeares *Romeo and Juliet*, followed by Reids saxophone-inflected quartet piece. The Bartók arrangement is described as more vivid and colourful than the original solo piano versions. ✨ World premiere of the Bartók arrangement 🎻 Live string quartet performance 📍 cSPACE Marda Loop
