Beyond the History Books: Exploring Stories of the Land

A guided storytelling tour that digs into Calgary's layered history at The Confluence, the riverside gathering place once known as Fort Calgary. You'll trace stories carried by the rivers and rooted in the land, receive teachings from an Indigenous Knowledge Keeper on sacred plants, and get behind-the-scenes access to the site's archaeological collection. The intimate small-group experience also includes admission to the Cultural Centre exhibitions, a chance to take part in a smudge, and a tasting of traditional mint tea.
