Let's Continue Rebuilding Community Trust & Envisioning

Join the YEEPI Education Foundation of Calgary for a community forum focused on rebuilding trust and envisioning equitable policy development. This day of dialogue is dedicated to increasing the participation and influence of Indigenous, Black, and diverse racialized communities in decision-making spaces. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive breakouts, participants will explore practical pathways for civic engagement at municipal, provincial, and institutional levels. The agenda includes identifying barriers like gatekeeping, developing tools for accountability, and creating a shared action roadmap with concrete next steps. Hosted by Dr. Marva J. Ferguson, this forum is designed for community leaders, advocates, students, and residents committed to advancing equity and strengthening civic participation. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
