A decommissioned helipad in Eau Claire Park becomes one of the largest ground murals in BUMP Festival history, painted by Montreal artist Marc-Olivier Lamothe in partnership with the City of Calgary. The unveiling doubles as the grand opening of three new community basketball half courts, with official remarks, a meet-the-artist, and a community workshop led by Activate YYC. Community partners Calgary SURGE, CJSW, Activate YYC and the National Music Centre round out the morning, with light refreshments served first come, first served.
