Flamenco dancer Fiona Malena joins violinist Claudia Schaer and pianist Oksana Yaremchuk for Zapateado, a program where flamenco footwork meets classical and contemporary music from Sarasate, de Falla and beyond. Berlin-based and Calgary-raised, Malena trained in southern Spain under masters including Farruquito before touring the world. It's part of ProArts' long-running Noon Concert Series — a free, come-as-you-are lunchtime performance in the heart of downtown Calgary.
