OHSOTO'KINO Music Incubator Showcase and Reception

Join the National Music Centre for a dynamic evening celebrating diverse Indigenous talent from across Canada. The 2026 OHSOTO'KINO Music Incubator Showcase brings together seven artists who are developing their skills and sharing their stories through new music. The lineup spans a wide range of genres and regions, featuring hip-hop and electronic sounds from artists with Treaty 4 and Pine Creek First Nation roots, alt-folk from Saulteau First Nation, and indie roots-rock from Anishinaabe and Cree communities. You’ll also hear from a Cree country artist and a Tłı̨chǫ (Dene) singer-songwriter, creating a rich tapestry of Indigenous musical expression. Arrive early for the pre-show reception to enjoy light appetizers included with admission, grab a drink at the cash bar, and mingle before the performances begin. The showcase takes place in the Skybridge on Level 5 of Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre. This initiative, supported by TD, is dedicated to creating opportunities for Indigenous artists to make new music and develop their craft.
