Craft your own mini sash keychain using traditional Métis-style finger weaving techniques in this hands-on afternoon workshop at The Confluence. Métis artist Arlan LaVallee-Nairn and Saulteaux-Métis artist Rey-J Horsefall guide you through the history of the Métis sash, its multipurpose Fur Trade origins, and the meaning behind its striking colours as you weave. Materials, instruction, and admission to the Cultural Centre are all included.
