A multi-day course designed for students who have completed an introductory woody plant identification class and wish to expand their skills. Participants will learn to identify 30 additional local tree and shrub species through classroom instruction and outdoor plant walks. The course concludes with a practical assessment where students identify species from live examples or herbarium samples.
