Calgary artist Michelle Ku transforms The New Gallery's Billboard 208 with Lo Bak Go, a large-scale public artwork rooted in her family's ties to Calgary's Chinatown and a treasured memory of learning to make daikon cake (蘿蔔糕) with her grandfather. Presented on the gallery's street-facing billboard as part of the fall Depixelating History program, the piece reflects on migration, memory, and finding home away from home. Free to view from the sidewalk around the clock throughout the run.
