NMC Tours: Backstage Pass

Step behind the scenes at Studio Bell for an exclusive look at the National Music Centre’s working recording facilities. Guided by NMC music educators, this tour offers a rare glimpse into the technology and artifacts that have shaped four centuries of musical innovation. You’ll explore the collection’s most treasured items, including a 16th-century Trasuntino Harpsichord and TONTO, often called the ‘holy grail’ of synthesizers. A highlight of the visit is seeing the legendary Rolling Stones Mobile Studio, the space where countless hit records were created. Tours are one hour in length and recommended for ages 12 and up. Space is limited and first-come, first-served, so booking in advance is recommended. Studio Bell admission is required. Note that strollers are not permitted on this tour.
