Free Indigenous Youth Theatre Workshops

Oshkagoojin Indigenous Theatre for Youth (OITY) and Making Treaty 7 Cultural Society team up with The Confluence to offer these free summer theatre workshops for Indigenous youth. Ages 8-12 explore storytelling through theatre games, movement, masks, and imagination in 'Stories to Play in the City... and the Mountains,' while ages 13-17 create original stories and characters in the Storytelling Writing Lab. Each day is designed as a stand-alone experience, so youth can join one or both. Snacks are provided; bring a lunch and water bottle, and register in advance (free).
