Exploring the City of Calgary’s Open Data

Curious about what data can tell us about where we live? Join Data for Good YYC for an evening exploring how Calgary’s Open Data helps us understand our city and inspire new ideas. Fareez Lalji, a leader in information access at the City of Calgary, will guide you through the Open Data Portal. You’ll discover how nearly 1,000 freely available data assets can help you explore city services, uncover trends, and ask new questions about your community. Whether you are an experienced researcher, a student, or just browsing for the first time, there is something new to find. A Q&A session follows the presentation so you can ask your own questions. Everyone is welcome to come learn and connect.
