Jake Koffman Quintet

Toronto saxophonist Jake Koffman — grandson of Canadian jazz legend Moe Koffman — brings his quintet to Inglewood for "Standing in the Shadows of Moe-Town," a program of originals alongside Canadian jazz standards and songbook reworkings of Lightfoot and Joni Mitchell. The band records the material at OCL Studios the very next day for their Cellar Music Group debut, so this concert is essentially a live preview of the album. Joining Koffman are Robi Botos on keys, Nathan Hiltz on guitar, Jon Meyer on bass, and Morgan Childs on drums.
