The Calgary Surge and the City of Calgary's Downtown Strategy team run free youth basketball clinics on the outdoor courts at Century Gardens, right in the heart of downtown. Open to youth ages 8 to 17, the sessions are led by experienced Surge coaches and focus on building skills, confidence, and a love of the game, whether you're a total beginner or looking to level up. Clinics run on a Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday schedule through the summer. Free program — advance registration required; spots open on the 1st and 15th of each month for two-week windows.
