Mitchell Prentice Plays Metalwood // Medeski Martin & Wood

Join Calgary tenor saxophonist Mitchell Prentice and his band for a live tribute to Medeski Martin & Wood. This seated listening experience blends jazz with fusion, rock, and electric textures, offering an exploratory take on the iconic trio's sound. Prentice, a MacEwan University graduate and one of the city’s most in-demand sidemen, brings influences from Sonny Rollins and John Coltrane to the stage. He is joined by a talented lineup featuring Dan Goldstein on drums, Chris Tauchner on piano, David Lavoie on trumpet, and Adam Pettigrew on bass. 📍 The Attic Bar & Stage
