Artists Trading Cards for Newcomers

Newcomers to Canada or Calgary are invited to Sparrow Artspace to make and trade Artist Trading Cards — miniature 2.5" x 3.5" original artworks meant to be swapped, not sold. All supplies are provided and no experience is necessary, so it's an easy, welcoming way to get creative and meet fellow newcomers and local artists. Board members from Sparrow Arts Society will be on hand to chat about the artists-in-residence program and point newcomers toward other creative resources in the community.
