Voices of Praise

St. Gile's Orchestra presents an evening of brass chamber music spanning more than four centuries, from the grandeur of Renaissance Venice through operatic favourites and spirited folk melodies. The brass quintet weaves in engaging educational moments on the history of brass instruments and the evolution of chamber music. Repertoire ranges from Gabrieli and Rossini to Arthur Pryor's Bluebells of Scotland and Gwyneth Walker's Shaker Tunes.
