What are springtails? These are tiny microscopic bugs that are beneficial for terrariums in several ways including the break down organic matter in the soil, which can improve nutrient availability for plants. They also help to prevent the buildup of harmful bacteria and fungi by feeding on decaying matter. Recommended age: 18+, unless accompanied by a parent.
