Slow down and find calm through the brush at this 10-week Chinese Xieyi painting course led by instructor Lilian Lin. Xieyi ("freehand") focuses on capturing the spirit and mood of a subject rather than its exact likeness, guiding students through the fundamental techniques of expressive Chinese ink brushwork. A meditative, hands-on class for anyone drawn to traditional Chinese painting.
