FunnyFest's 27th annual Comedy Competition pits 50 stand-up comics against each other over ten nights, with up to eight competitors per show bookended by a headlining MC and closer. Rounds run through Calgary pubs and showrooms (plus two virtual Zoom nights), building to a semi-final and championship final where competitors vie for $5,000 in cash and prizes and a coveted spot in the FunnyFest Comedy Festival. A portion of every ticket supports the Salvation Army and Ukrainian humanitarian aid.
