Current: Performances at Sien Lok Park

Part of The New Gallery's Current series of riverside public art activations, this free afternoon brings improvised music and movement to Calgary's Chinatown. Flutist and electronic artist JJL teams with interdisciplinary movement artist Pam Tzeng for a meditative, improvised collaboration along the Bow River's edge, followed by the Gai Lan Ensemble performing Chinese chamber music in the park. It's an intimate outdoor encounter with sound, movement, and the rhythm of the river.
