Join the community along Memorial Drive to walk among the rows of white crosses honouring Calgary's fallen soldiers. Each cross stands for a life given in service, and the field remains open to the public around the clock, illuminated after dark for quiet visits at any hour. Visitors are invited to pause before a cross that moves them, speak the soldier's name softly, and place a hand over their heart in remembrance. Sunrise and sunset ceremonies take place daily and are open to all who wish to attend; arriving a little early is recommended.
