The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra closes its October program with Schumann's Symphony No. 4 under guest conductor Michelle Di Russo. Colombian cellist Santiago Cañón-Valencia takes the spotlight in Édouard Lalo's theatrical Cello Concerto, and the night opens with Gabriela Ortiz's vibrant orchestral tribute to Clara Schumann. A lush, romantic evening at Jack Singer Concert Hall.
