Tendavillage

Tendavillage brings a genre-defying blend of psychedelic electro space funk, soul, and jazz to the stage. Led by writer-producer Kate Melvina and jazz pianist Jacob Fossum, the Calgary-based group draws from 70s funk masters to contemporary nu-funk artists to create an imaginative contemporary RnB and jazz sound. Their debut single and latest record, “The Tenda Dimension,” have earned rave reviews and a global fanbase, with the album nominated for RnB Recording of the Year at the YYC Music Awards. Expect an exploratory, seated listening experience featuring smooth grooves and soulful textures. The lineup includes Kate Melvina on vocals and production, Sheldon Zandboer on piano, Cam Dougall on bass, Jim Johnston on drums, and Aaron Shorr on guitar. 📍 Cornerstone Music Cafe
