The Confluence marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with a full day of free public programming honouring residential school survivors and the children who never returned home. Expect free admission to the cultural centre exhibits, programming in tipis on the land, educational walking tours, and teachings that centre Indigenous ways of knowing. The site also hosts the City of Calgary's Orange Shirt Day Program in the morning, and visitors are encouraged to come wearing orange.
