Maria de Bueil: Reel, Reel, Reel

Join local author and artist Maria de Bueil for a Saturday signing at Owl’s Nest Bookstore. This event features her picture book, *Reel, Reel, Reel*, a story about a dad and daughter ice fishing on a wild, frozen lake. It’s a gentle tale of patience, hot chocolate, and sharing a catch with family. Maria is a Calgary-based illustrator and painter who splits her time between large canvases and creating stories for children. She invites readers to come meet her, get a copy of her book, and enjoy a bit of local artistry.
