Ghazaleh Avarzamani: Of Manual

Iranian-Canadian artist Ghazaleh Avarzamani wraps Contemporary Calgary's façade in a panoramic exterior installation built from the pieces of classic strategy games. Tokens, pawns and heraldic symbols assemble into a speculative landscape where board-game logic mirrors national borders, territorial identity and hidden systems of authority. Curated by Mona Filip, it's on view alongside her interior exhibition Churn, Earn, Burn and then Return.
