Fibre arts historian Dr. Jennifer Salahub gives a talk on how the Sheep Creek Weavers Fibre Arts Guild has spent fifty years preserving traditional craft techniques by building community. Presented at the Alberta Craft Gallery alongside the guild's Shared Threads contemporary fibre exhibition, the talk traces the guild's growth since 1976 across weaving, spinning, felting, quilting, dyeing and more.
