Lunchbox Theatre's Stage One festival presents staged readings of six new plays by local Indigenous artists, developed with Elder Adrian Wolfleg and dramaturg Marshall Vielle. Catch two readings each Friday afternoon — works by Deedra Salange Ladouceur, Janine Owl Child, Garret Smith, Sarah Buffalo, Jared Tailfeathers, and Wendy Walker — spanning supernatural mockumentary, residential-school memory, burlesque, and reconciliation. Free, walk-up admission at the Central Library; also available to stream virtually.
