Incense Holders + "Diya" Tealight Holders - Clay Handbuilding Workshop

Spend an evening shaping your own air-dry clay diyas and incense holders. This hands-on workshop is open to University of Calgary students and the wider community, making it a great low-pressure way to try your hand at pottery. UC Pottery Studio executives will lead a short tutorial at the start, then stay around to offer guidance as you sculpt. You’re free to design your pieces in any shape or style you like. Tea lights and incense are provided so you can see how your creations look once finished. This event supports GARAM GLAM, a student-led nonprofit raising funds for winter warmth supplies for unhoused women in Calgary. A portion of ticket sales goes directly to their cause. Attending also grants you entry to a future Paint and Varnish session to finish your project.
